Speciality Tints

Speciality tints are individually selected coloured lenses designed to reduce visual discomfort and light sensitivity. They may help people who experience glare, headaches, eye strain, visual fatigue or difficulty focusing, particularly in bright, fluorescent or flickering environments.

At Mortdale Eyecare, we assess your response to different tint colours and densities, including FL-41, blue and Avulux, and can trial the preferred tint during reading, screen use and everyday activities.

Speciality tints may be beneficial for people experiencing symptoms associated with migraine, concussion, acquired brain injury, stroke, photophobia and pattern glare.
